American Alpine Club (AAC)
Sterling supports the AAC- a nonprofit organization committed to providing climbers with resources that advance knowledge, inspiration, and advocacy. 

American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA)
An educational non‐profit that is dedicated to inspiring and supporting a culture of American mountain craft. The AMGA’s mission is to be the leader in education, standards, and advocacy for professional guides and climbing instructors.  

Ancient Forest Society 
A non-profit organization working to study and protect ancient trees and forests through research, outreach and conservation.

Arbor Canada (ACTE)
Arbor Canada delivers professional training and education and advances the culture of safety to professionals who perform high-risk operations around trees across Canada. Industries include municipal and commercial arboriculture, utility, landscaping, firefighters and emergency workers, power linemen, and more. 

Global Climbing Initiative
An organization committed to equipping climbing communities around the world with the knowledge and resources to thrive. Sterling has partnered with GCI through the launch of limited edition climbing ropes where proceeds go toward the Climbing Leadership Fund.

Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)
A non-profit, member-driven organization whose mission is to advance tree care businesses. TCIA supports members over the life of their business by providing tools used every day to improve safety, sustainability, and chances for success.

International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
Promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.

Climbing Wall Association (CWA)
Sterling is a member of CWA, whose mission is to support the growth, health, independence, and professionalism of the indoor climbing industry.

Grassroots Outdoors Alliance (GOA) 
An organization dedicated to the health and growth of the specialty outdoor retail industry. GOA fosters education and community, and influences the outdoor industry to maximize the opportunities for outdoor specialty businesses.

Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)
Vertical Supply Group is a member of AEM, dedicated to harnessing the power of construction and agriculture equipment manufacturers through advocating for our members with a strong, unified voice; connecting members and customers; and aggregating data to help make informed decisions. 

Mountain Rescue Association (MRA)
An organization of teams dedicated to saving lives through rescue and mountain safety education. With over 90 government-authorized units, MRA has grown to become the critical mountain search and rescue resource in North America.

Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT)
We are a member of SPRAT, a member-driven organization that advances the safe use of rope access through education, standards development and certification administration. 

The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association (NATE)
We are a member of NATE, a non-profit trade association dedicated to providing a unified voice for companies in the diverse tower and communications infrastructure construction, service, and maintenance industries. 

Lt. Joseph DiBernardo Memorial Foundation
Providing fire departments in need with safety training and personal life safety systems. Proceeds of each Sterling Stealth Fire Escape Kit sold are donated to this foundation to ensure every firefighter has the training and equipment to safely escape a fire. 

GRIMP Day
Sterling sponsors the all-women’s GRIMP Day team Yes Ma’am. Grimp Day is an international competition for rescue teams. The competition includes various rescue scenarios that require teams to demonstrate technical skills, speed, and ability to work under pressure. 

Veterans Expeditions
A veteran-led organization with the goal of enhancing the lives of veterans through outdoor trips and events. 

Outdoor Industry Association (OIA)
A member-based collective, Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) is a passionate group of business leaders, climate experts, policy makers and outdoor enthusiasts committed to sustainable economic growth while protecting – and growing access to – the benefits of the outdoors for everyone.

Maine Outdoor Brands (MOB)
Sterling is a member of MOB- a collective of brands working together to create opportunities for local business leaders and entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and collaborate to elevate Maine Outdoor Brands on both a national and international stage.
