These climbers have aluminum lower shanks for a half-pound weight difference, per side, from steel. Bashlin climbers are popular with many climbers from utility to tree. The adjustable upper sleeve is steel, as are the gaffs themselves. These come with 2 1/2" tree gaffs. Each climber weighs 31.2 oz.
