Manufactured in exactly the same way as the full strength DMM carabiners, each XSRE carabiner back is hot forged using aircraft grade aluminum, heat treated and built up with a machined gate and barrel. This attention to detail means that this clean nose, 61mm x 34mm carabiner has a strength of 4kN and a gate opening of 12mm.
This locking captive bar version of Helix's popular non-PPE XSRE plain gate adds additional security regardless of what you are using it for, whether its racking gear, hanging a nut key, rigging a hammock or just as a key ring the screw gate feature will keep your kit secure. The removable threaded captive bar helps ensure the correct orientation with lanyards and holds components securely.
