Helix Operations has collaborated with Ferro Concepts and DOM Systems to create bespoke, modular tactical harness systems based on the Helix Combat Multi Harness II (HCMH II) harness, manufactured by DMM, which gives operators the ability to mount equipment without compromise.
The HCMH II Harness Bora Belt™ is based on the well-regarded Ferro Concepts Bora Belt™, which was designed to be very light and slim whilst not sacrificing any functionality. The Helix DOM Comfort Belt is the best solution we have found to add comfort when wearing thin clothing or carrying a heavy load; this is done with minimal additional weight.
Optimal gear stabilisation is achieved by utilising a single layer of laser-cut Tegris thermoplastic as the framework. This technology drastically reduces overall weight and thickness but retains better rigidity than traditional methods.
Helix fully modular tactical harness system - it can be used as a standalone EN358 Riggers Belt, an EN 12277 Waist Harness , or an EN 361 Full Body Harness. The HMCH II Full Body harness is certified at 150kg as standard with EN 361 (PPE for Fall Protection - Full Body Harnesses).
The True North Modular Holster Adapter can be used to allow accessories such as pistol holsters to be mounted to the preferred height and angle on the Ferro concept Bison/Bora Belt.
The HCMH II fully integrates with other ‘on the man’ systems, such as life jackets and plate carriers – it has been designed with an ultra-low profile using bonded vari-width webbing, so that it can be run comfortably under a plate carrier. If a chest ascender is required, the innovative connection system occupies minimal area on the front of the carrier.
