You can find cheaper fiberglass poles, but look closely. If you've got poles with weak springs, short spring pins, thin or cracked ferrules, then you'll appreciate the high quality of a Jameson. Jameson sticks are very rigid, lightweight, and don't splinter in your hands. Hollow poles are extruded fiberglass.
