The Sterling Triad redefines arborist climbing performance with its remarkably smooth operation through mechanical devices and cordage-based systems. Field-tested and loved by arborists, this innovative rope features a 32-strand polyester sheath that glides effortlessly through gear. Its unique hybrid core construction merges kernmantle and double-braid designs, utilizing multiple twisted inner Nylon cores and a braided Nylon outer core.
This construction allows the core and sheath to work together to create exceptional roundness while maintaining superior flexibility. With low elongation optimized for SRS (but versatile enough for MRS), and a low-profile EV splice that passes smoothly through friction savers the Triad delivers smooth performance, climb after climb.
- 32-strand Polyester Sheath for smooth performance with mechanicals and cordage-based systems
- Low elongation ideal for SRS but can also be used in MRS
- Rope is a cross between a Kernmantle and a Double Braid. The unique core construction features multiple twisted cores for the inner core and an outer braided core.
- The sheath, outer core and inner core all share equal contribution to the rope’s performance: giving the roundness of a kernmantle but the flexibility of a double braid
- Low-profile EV splice makes it super smooth to pass through friction savers
